The Way I See It, the time to select the MLB players to go to the 77th Midsummer Classic to be held in Pittsburgh is now. I'm not waiting any longer as I have a tendency to forget to vote and rush and make irrational selections. I may be making some irrational selections in this column but by making my selections now you'll have ample opportunity to show me the error of my thinking so here goes.

There won't be a designated hitter this year because they play in a National League park, but I put big Jim in there. He'll receive an amble number of votes for first baseman so he'll probably make an appearance. You have a better list? Send it in and tell me why your selection is better. Remember the 2006 All-Star Game will be played at PNC Park on Tuesday, July 11. Don't forget to vote for the players you feel deserves to be there based on what they are accomplishing this season.
