"The program aims to involve members of the DHS West Senior Class in planned activities with the area senior citizens,"
McGlone said in a news release. "The first program, a mock election, was held in November."
At the recent program, the West vocal ensemble, under the direction of Matt McCloskey, performed for seniors during the Downingtown Senior Center's lunch hour, according to McGlone.
After the performance, West students distributed holiday cards and treats to the senior citizens, McGlone said. Meghan Campbell, a senior at West, was the student coordinator of this year's "Seniors for Seniors" program.
