Six new members of the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge of Quarryville will be inducted into the lodge on Saturday, Feb. 2. They are;Derek Scott Arnold, who lives on Magnolia Lane, Holtwood, with his wife Jen.
He is branch manager for Blue Ball Bank in Gap, a member of Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs in Quarryville and the social labor organization of Hubley Manufacturing Company.
His hobbies and interests include watching Penn State football and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Gary N. Book, who lives on Wyndmere Way, Willow Street, with his wife Julie and their children Nevin Jack, 7, and Thaddeus Robert, 1.
He is director of sales for Stoner Inc. in Quarryville and a member of K&K Social Fraternity.
He enjoys duck and goose hunting and tail-gating at Penn State football games.
Edward J. Girvin, who lives on Georgetown Road, Quarryville, with his two children Nichalas, 12, and Jarrett, 8.
He is press operator at Quebecor World Printing in Atglen and enjoys sports, going to Penn State football games and playing with his children.
Larry G. Kreider, who lives on North Tanglewood Drive, Quarryville, with his wife Donna, and two children Bridgett, 21, and Breanna, 18.
He is vice president of sales promotion and products at Apex Advertising Inc. in Lancaster and is a SECA board member and former member of the former Quarryville Rotary Club.
He enjoys going to the beach, sports and playing golf.
Christian B. Miller, who lives in Rawlinsville with his wife Ruth.
He is retired and is a member of the American Legion, Commercial Travelers, AMVETS, Pequea Valley Sportsman's Association, Hubley Club, Riverside Club and Boat Club.
