Wahab Budianto, 32, of East Fallowfield died in a one-vehicle accident on Route 82 north of Newark Road in West Marlborough Township on Dec. 30 at about 10:52 p.m. Police said Budianto was driving his Nissan 350SX north on Route 82 and lost control on the wet roadway. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, spun and hit a fence. He died as a result of the injuries he suffered in the crash. The roadway was closed for about two hours while the investigation was conducted and the wreckage was cleared. Police said Budianto was not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Chester County coroner. The state police were assisted by Po-Mar-Lin Fire Co.| Olga Ramirez of West Grove suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route 1 at Route 82 in East Marlborough Township on Dec. 31 at 7:55 a.m. Police said she lost control of her truck on the icy roadway and slid into the bridge on top of Route 1.

|Someone cut through a chain link fence and entered a business in the 1300 block of Lenape Road in Pocopson Township between Dec. 28 and Jan. 2 and stole a 500-pound bronze cylinder. Police said the actor then fled. Anyone with information should call the state police at 610-268-2022.

| The state police are investigating a burglary in the unit block of Dougherty Drive in Elk Township on Jan. 3 between 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Police said someone entered a home and took $1,000 in cash, a credit card miscellaneous coins and various pieces of jewelry. Anyone with information should call the state police.

| Police reported that Matu Amoah of Kennett Square lost control of her Mitsubishi Montero on Bayard Road in Kennett Township on Dec. 31 at 7:25 a.m., crossing over the northbound lane, striking a tree and then hitting a house. The damage to her car was severe, according to police reports.

| Andrew Dulaney of Lewes, Del., was unhurt in a one car accident in the 100 block of Chatham Street in Avondale on Jan. 1 at 9:30 a.m. Police said he was traveling north on Chatham Street and hit a telephone poll. The damage to his Jeep Laredo was severe, police reports said.

| a 17-year-old driver suffered minor injuries while a passenger in a Ford Explorer driven by Mario Arcos of West Grove on Jan. 4 at 6:43 a.m. on State Road west of Inniscrone Drive in London Grove Township. Police said Arcos was traveling east on State Road and did not negotiate a curve to the right. The car crossed the double y ellow lines and left the roadway to the north of State Road. The car hit an embankment and small trees. Police said Arcos fled the scene. He will be charged with driving in the wrong land and driving without a license, according to the police report.

| Someone broke and removed a basement window in the 2000 block of Sullivan Chase in New London Township on Jan. 4 between 5 and 10:45 a.m., stealing a Thompson 12 gauge shotgun and fleeing the scene. Anyone with information should contact Trooper Iwaniec at the state police barracks.

| Carolyn McMillan, 62, of West Grove suffered minor injuries and was cited for careless driving in a three-car crash on Baltimore Pike just west of Route 41 in London Grove Township on Jan. 4 at 3:51 p.m. Police said McMillan was traveling eastbound on Baltimore Pike and vehicles driven by Richard Hoosier, 37, of West Grove and Monica Saienni, 41, of West Grove were stopped in the roadway yielding to oncoming traffic and attempting to turn left into the Wawa parking lot. McMillan's Saab sedan hit Hoosier's Dodge DAkota, which then hit Saienni's Chevy Blazer. McMillan was taken to Jennersville Hospital, according to police reports.

| Willard Watson, 65, was charged with tampering with public records, altering documents or plates, registration card violations, operating without inspection, and other inspection/registration violations on Jan. 5 at 8:57 a.m. at Circle Drive at Baltimore Pike in East Nottingham Township. Police said he was stopped for expired inspection stickers and was found to have altered/forged expired stickers to read that they were currently valid. Police said he used a black marker to change 07 into 08. The inspection/emission stickers were taken from other vehicles registered to the accused.

| According to police reports, someone rummaged through an unlocked vehicle but took nothing in the 100 block of West Street Road in East Marlborough Township between noon on Jan 4 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 5.

| One driver suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Route 272 at Route 1 in West Nottingham Township on Jan. 5 at 7:03 p.m. Police said Elizabeth Somma of Nottingham was traveling from the offramp of Route, attempting to make a right-hand turn onto 272 and pulled out in front of Mona Herr of Avondale in her Ford Escort, who was traveling north. Both vehicles hit on the front bumpers, causing disabling damage to both. Somma was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment, the police report said.
