Each year, the West Grove-Avondale Rotary Club recognizes 7 outstanding junior and senior students from Avon Grove High School, and Avon Grove Charter School. Each student is selected by his or her teachers. They are invited together with parents and their principal to join the members of the Rotary Club during one of their regular breakfast meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 AM, Jenner's Pond, Alison Building. The students are invited to speak before the club members about their scholastic activities, sports, outside interests and future goals. Each student receives a certificate along with a twenty-five dollar gift certificate to a bookstore.
