Police are investigating reports of suspicious activity and prowling along Green Street and the north central sections of Parkesburg. Residents report suspicious activity and acts of criminal mischief at various locations. Police remind all residents to secure and lock their property and use outdoor motion lighting to illuminate darkened areas. Notify police of suspicious activity and unfamiliar persons. Incidents have been reported between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. Lock and secure windows and doors.

Police were called to West Second Avenue for a medical emergency. Police stood-by and assisted until medical crews arrived.

Police were called to investigate criminal mischief reported on Rosemont Avenue. A subject used a BB gun to damage a parked vehicle.

Police were called to investigate an incident of identity theft as reported by a resident of West Second Avenue. Thousands of dollars have been charged to the victim's accounts and credit bureaus. Police are investigating.

Police in Highland Township conducted speed enforcement within the school zone along Highland Road.

Noise complaint, Jan. 14

Police were called to West Fourth Avenue for a noise complaint. Ongoing incidents have been reported between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Charges are pending additional complaint.

Police were called to the Parkesburg Arms for trespassing. Subjects were removed by police and charges are pending.

Carbon monoxide exposure, Jan. 14

Police were called to Gay Street for an odor investigation. Police arrived to find the resident suffering exposure to carbon monoxide. Fire Company personnel arrived and took action. The resident was taken to the hospital to be observed.

Suspicious vehicle, Jan. 15

Police in Highland Township came upon a suspicious vehicle partially blocking the traffic lane of Stottsville Road, north of Glenrose. The vehicle was later towed after the owner was unable to be located by police.

Police were called to the area of Culvert Street and Fourth Avenue for juveniles causing a traffic problem.

Police in Highland Township conducted speed enforcement in the school zone along Highland Road.

Careless driver, Jan. 15

Police in Atglen Borough were called to investigate ongoing incidents of a driver failing to stop for a school bus. Police have identified the suspect driver and are attempting to locate the person. Drivers stopped and cited for passing a school bus, while stopped and lights flashing, are subject to monetary penalties and license suspension.

Domestic dispute, Jan. 15

Police were called to a residence on West Third Avenue for a domestic dispute involving a weapon. Police removed the suspect for medical evaluation and pending criminal charges. No one was injured in the altercation. Police recovered the weapon.

Suspicious aircraft, Jan. 15

Police in Highland Township were called to investigate an aircraft reportedly using a search light in the northern section of the township. No known police activity was reported during this time.
