EAST FALLOWFIELDA resident in the 2100 block of Strasburg Road called police July 9 to report that his roommate discovered someone attempted to steal his ATV, police said. The roommate found the ATV had been taken off a trailer and pushed to an adjoining property along Strasburg Road, police said.
The suspects fled in a newer model Ford Mustang eastbound on Strasburg Road after they saw the roommate in the driveway, police said.
A resident in the 300 block of Tasha Lane reported July 9 that sometime overnight someone entered her nephew's unlocked vehicle and took $60 in cash from his wallet.
A resident in the 2500 block of Strasburg Road reported that sometime overnight someone entered her unlocked vehicle and took roughly $7 in change from her console, police said. The victim told officers that around 12:30 a.m., her husband's car alarm went off and she thought she heard a car door, police said. The victim told officers that when the couple went out to check her husband's car she saw a midsized sedan heading westbound on Strasburg from Weston Drive, police said.
A resident told police July 9 that sometime overnight someone entered their nanny's unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Barron Crest Way and took roughly $30 in cash, police said. The victim told police that at about 11:30 p.m., the neighbor's car alarm started going off. The resident told police they did not see or here anything.
Police arrested a man for drugs after he was reportedly spotted tampering with a fence outside the Verizon building.
Andre Malone Reeves, 39, of West Grove, was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. July 7 after an officer stopped him at the fence in the 500 block of East Diamond Street, according to a criminal complaint.
During the stop, officers allegedly found an aluminum crack pipe in his pocket and a small knife, police said. Officers also allegedly found a pocket knife, steel wool and a plastic container holding four separate while pieces of rock that tested positive for cocaine, police said.
Police charged Reeves with drug possession and related charges.
A woman allegedly tried to resist arrest after not obeying an officer's orders to back away from the scene of a traffic stop.
Tanisha Greene, 20, of Coatesville, was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. July 8 near the intersection of East Lincoln Highway and North 4th Avenue, police said.
Greene allegedly did not listen when an officer asked her to move back from the area, police said. An officer then used his hand to try to stop the defendant from walking forward, police said.
Police said Greene refused to stop and reportedly threatened to kick the officer and his patrol car.
When the officer told her she was under arrest, Greene allegedly tried to resist and once in the police car she allegedly kicked a rear window causing the protection bars to slightly bend, police said.
Police said Greene also hit her forehead on the vehicle's partition.
Once at the station, Greene allegedly threatened to kill the officer, police said.
Police charged Greene with simple assault, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, obstructing law enforcement and resisting arrest.
Police arrested a city man for allegedly assaulting another man.
Jesus Delgado Ramirez, 28, was arrested July 9 for allegedly going into the victim's bedroom and beating him while he was asleep, police said.
Ramirez assaulted the victim while he was intoxicated between 2 and 2:30 a.m., according to a criminal complaint.
Police said Ramirez punched the victim in the face multiple times and bit his chest.
Police charged Ramirez with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
