Dozens of area residents turned out for the annual Memorial Day parade in Oxford, which made its way up Third Street early Monday morning, bound for the Oxford Memorial Cemetery.

There, members of the borough's administration assisted numerous veterans during a solemn flag and wreath ceremony.

The numerous veterans who participated in the parade were met with rounds of applause from the attendees who lined Third Street, as did the rows of police, fire and other service agencies that made up the rest of the procession.
