The Health and Welfare Foundation of Southern Chester County proudly announces the awarding of twenty-two Alma Newlin Educational Fund scholarships to talented students from five local school districts. The one-time scholarships, totaling $57,000 this year alone, are designed to assist students in preparing for careers in the health care field.This year's award winners plan to study for a variety of careers including nursing, radiology, pre-med, dentistry, physical therapy, speech pathology, nutrition, bio-medical engineering and pharmacology.
