Mary Faye Hannum Glass, age 80, of Kennett Square, died Saturday, June 21 at the Kendal Crosslands Community. She was the wife of the late James K. Glass who died in 1999. Born in West Chester, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Martha Rhoads Hannum. She was a 1945 graduate of Kennett High School and a 1949 graduate of Juniata College.Mrs. Glass was very active with the Needlers Club at Crosslands, Wool Gathering of Kennett Square and the Kennett Friends Meeting.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Glass and his wife Lisa, of West Grove; two daughters, Patricia Mains and her husband Glenn, of Denver, Pa., Barbara Howard and her husband Daniel, of Bradford, Pa.; one sister, Martha Potter, of Kennett Square; two sisters-in-law, Mary Hannum and Ruth Bohn and her husband Gilbert, all of Venice, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Debra Concklin and her husband Steve, of Hockessin, Del.; and seven grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son James R. Glass and a brother Bill Hannum.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 27 at Kennett Friends Meeting, North Union and West Sickles Streets Kennett Square, Pa. and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29 at Crosslands, William Penn Room, Rt. 926, Kennett Square, PA.
