Lois Ann Alonso, age 50, of Nottingham, passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at the Heart-land Hospice, Wilmington, Del.She was the wife of Nestali Perez Alonso.

Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of Pearl Bolt Kita of Fries, Va. and the late Ernest McComsey.

Lois graduated valedictorian of Brandywine School of Nursing in 1988. She was employed with Chatham Acres as charge nurse.

She was a member of Homeville Gospel Lighthouse. She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson and her dog, Precious. She was the greatest wife, Mom and Mom-Mom in the world.

She is survived by her husband; mother; step-father, Bob Kita; one son, Barry Bolt and wife, April of West Grove; two daughters, Sinsea "Sissy" Gross and husband, Michael, and Tale-na Pierce and husband, Melvin, all of Nottingham; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Matt Bobbitt and Claude Bobbitt, both of Fries, Va.; three sisters, Connie Johnson of Perryville, Md., Bonnie Smyth and Wendy Bobbitt, both of Quarryville.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Edward L. Collins Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St. Oxford, 19363.

Interment will be in the Oxford Cemetery.
