The Farmers' Almanac predicts fair weather for today then storms arriving with heavy rains moving north through the Mid-Atlantic states into the Northeast until Monday. On Tuesday, expect some showers then fair through Friday.

The planet Mercury can be seen in the evening low in the western sky after sunset. It sets about oneand-a-half to one hour after sunset up to third quarter of the month. Thereafter it is too near the sun to be visible from the third quarter of the month, being in inferior conjunction in the beginning of next month. The planet is in greatest eastern elongation of about 27 degrees on 11th. The motion of the planet becomes retrograde with respect to the earth on 24th.

Venus is a brilliant object and can be seen in the evening low in western sky after sunset. It sets about one to one-and-a-half hours after sunset throughout the month.

Mars can be seen in the evening after sunset. It sets about one-anda-half hours to one hour after sunset throughout the month.

Jupiter can be seen in the evening after sunset throughout the month and remains visible until it sets around local midnight. It sets about one hour after local midnight to around local midnight time up to third quarter of the month and around local midnight time to a half hour before it during the last quarter of the month. The motion of the planet becomes direct with respect to the earth on 8th.

Saturn remains too near the sun to be visible up to 18th day of the month, being in conjunction with the sun on 4th. Thereafter it is seen in the eastern sky, rises about one hour to one-and-a-half hours before sunrise for the remaining days of the month and remains visible till the beginning of morning twilight.
