EAST MARLBOROUGH—Chester County Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host a special event Saturday, Jan. 26 at Willowdale Chapel in East Marlborough that will focus on stories on how high-profile athletes keep Christ first in their life.
Speakers at the event will include Joey Wendell, a graduate of Avon Grove High School, West Chester University Rams All-American and current second baseman for the Tampa Bay Rays; Jeff Boettcher, lead pastor at Christ Church in South Philadelphia and the team chaplain for the Philadelphia Phillies; and Sam Woodworth, Messiah three-time national champion soccer player and coach, along with his wife, Claire, an All-American lacrosse player.
It takes place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and it is open to the public.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives—one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
