Car into house

No one was injured when a car plowed into this house Thursday in East Marlborough Township.

EAST MARLBOROUGH—Police are investigating an accident Thursday in which a car ran into the side of a house in East Marlborough.

Police said the accident occurred on the Cuyler Walker property off North Mill Road.

"It is a real-world reminder of how critical our first responders are to our community," Walker said.

Po-Mar-Lin and Longwood both responded, and well as members of the East Marlborough police and road crew. No one was injured, including the sole person in the vehicle.

Walker is a former East Marlborough supervisor and was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 158 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.He withdrew from the race on Sept. 26, 2014, and was replaced on the ballot by Incumbent Chris Ross. Currently, he chairs the township's planning commission.
