Daisies write their story and learn how to be " News Reporters" at one of 11 Badge Workshops offered.

KENNETT SQUARE—Over 250 Girl Scouts participated in the yearly Brownie Bash in Kennett Square. This event offered 11 Scout badges for Brownies Grades 2-3) and Daisies (Grade K-1) including: For the Love of Books, News Reporting, Birds, Wild West, Doll Collecting, Colonial Times, Bump in the Night Fashion, Drama Queen, Miniatures and Beach Awareness. Each registrant chose at 3- 4 workshops to attend. Older Girl Scouts led the workshops providing leadership opportunities.

This is the 10th year the Brandywine Valley Service Unit has sponsored this event in Kennett Square. It is such popular program that Girl Scouts from as far away as Philadelphia, Royersford and southern Delaware attend.

As with most Girl Scout Events, there was a special Community Service that involved a large collection of supplies for the non-profit organization, the Garage!
