The following local students earned spots on the Dean's List at Arcadia University during the 2007 semester:o Helen Dwyer, a resident of Coatesville, earned placement during the spring semester

o Kaitlin O'Malley, a resident of Parkesburg, earned placement during the fall semester

These local students were among more than 200 students on the list and were honored at an on-campus ceremony in March. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.67 to 3.89 and complete at least 12 credits during the semester. Arcadia University is a top-ranked private university in metropolitan Philadelphia and a national leader in study abroad-celebrating 60 years of study abroad in 2008. The 2007 Open Doors report ranks Arcadia University second in teh nation among master's universities in the percentage of undergraduate students studying abroad.
