Kyle Spruance Strawbridge, 21, of Kennett Square died on Sunday, Dec. 14. Born in Corvallis, Ore., his family moved to Pennsylvania when he was 7.Mr. Strawbridge attended Vermont Academy, Kennett High School and graduated from Upattinas School in Glenmoore in 2005.

He was a student at the University of Colorado in Boulder from 2006 to 2008. He enjoyed snow-boarding, ice hockey, golf and scuba diving. He traveled extensively with his family and upon graduation from high school spent a year travelling around the world to Asia, Europe, South America and Africa.

He is survived by his parents, Anne and Andrew Strawbridge; his father, John Spruance; his sister, Hillary Strawbridge; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Patricia Guenveur; his great-grandfather, Edward Rodger; four aunts; five uncles; eight cousins; and many loving friends.

A memorial service was Sunday, Dec. 21, the Kuzo and Grieco Funeral Home, Kennett Square.
