Township police are investigating an assault that occurred on a Krapf school bus on Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. on Kaolin road near Smithbridge. Two middle school students became engaged in a fight. The assault against a 12-year-old middle school student occurred when the driver attempted to intervene and is suspected of having struck a student. The driver has been suspended by Krapf Bus. Co. until the investigation is completed, police said.o Township police are investigating the Oct. 7 theft from an Ashford Drive resident when a suspect illegally obtained and used the victim's credit card numbers to make unauthorized online purchases, according to police reports.

o On Oct. 17, police investigated shots fired at a house in the 700 block of Creek Road at 4:30 a.m. Police believe this incident may be tied to a deer poaching incident in the area reported at the same time, police said.

o On Oct. 21, police responded to a theft of $2,000 of audio equipment from a church on Route 82, according to police reports.

o On Oct. 22, police were called to a business in the 700 block of West Cypress Street when two suspects committed a retail theft. Store employees were able to identify the individuals involved and complaints are being filed charging them with theft, police said.

o On Oct. 22, police responded to a complaint of a series of harassing phone calls received over the six preceding days. Verizon officials are working with police to identify the source of the calls, according to reports.

o On Oct. 24, a resident of the 900 block of Creek Road reported that during a party held in her home on Oct. 17, someone removed jewelry valued at $1,800. This investigation is continuing, police said.

o Sometime overnight on Oct. 27 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on Whitney Drive and removed CDs. The suspects then entered a garage and removed a laptop computer and other stereo equipment valued at $4,000, police said.

o Police are encouraging all Southern Chester County residents to secure their vehicles at all times, even when parked in their own driveways. Incidents of individuals going through unlocked vehicles have occurred throughout the area during the past several weeks. Lock you car at all times.
