HoldupPennsylvania State Police are looking for two men who robbed Friendly's restaurant in the Painters Crossing Shops early Thursday.

One of the suspects - described as white, in his 20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with close-cropped blond or light red hair and thin beard - entered the unlocked door of the restaurant in the shopping center at routes 202 and 1 about 12:20 a.m.

Placing a bandanna over his face and holding a gun in his right hand, he forced an employee to take him to the safe. When they reached the safe, a male accomplice tied the victim's hands.

Both suspects removed cash and coins from the safe. One of the suspects removed video surveillance tape from the office before they fled out the back door, setting off the alarm.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Robert Kirby of the PSP Criminal Investigation Unit at 484-840-1041.
