Edward D. Wilson, 79, of West Grove, died on Dec. 27 at Jennersville Regional Hospital in Penn Township.He was the husband of Ruth A. Lehman Wilson with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

Born in Kennett Square, he was the son of the late Hobert and Gladys Horn Wilson.

Mr. Wilson lived in Avondale most of his life. He worked at NVF Company, Yorklyn, Del., and retired in 1976. He was a member of Cedars Church of Christ in Wilmington, Del.

He is survived by: his wife; a son, Kenneth Wilson of Mt. City, Tenn.; a step-daughter, Kathy Fredriksen of Wilmington; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Wilson of Mt. City, Tenn.; and two sisters, Mary Nell Reese of Mt. City, Tenn. and Margaret Wilson of Johnson City, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Edward L. Collins Funeral Home, Inc. 86 Pine St. Oxford, PA, where friends may call after 10 a.m.

Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery, Steelville, Pa.
