Possession of Weapons (Dec. 26)While attending classes at Downingtown Middle School, 115 Rock Raymond Road, Caln Twp., a male juvenile, 13, did show other students a small folding knife he was carrying on his person. The student will be charged with Possession of Weapon on School Property.

Criminal Mischief (Dec. 28)

A vehicle tire was cut with an unknown object while in the parking lot of the Regal Theater, Brandywine Square Shopping Center, East Caln Twp.

DUI (Dec. 28)

Beatrice Pritchard, 45, of Royersford was arrested for DUI and traffic violations. At 9:46 p.m. while in the area of 500 East Lancaster Ave. a vehicle was observed sitting in the roadway blocking the southbound lanes. Contact was made with the operator of the vehicle, Pritchard. While speaking with Pritchard she was visibly intoxicated.

Public Drunkenness (Dec. 28)

Patricia Johnson, 40, of Downingtown was cited for Public Drunkenness. Johnson was viewed stumbling in the parking lot of DNB, 4 Brandywine Ave. Upon making contact with Johnson, it was apparent she was intoxicated along with a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person.

Theft (Dec. 30)

Sometime between Dec. 28 and Dec. 29 a Panasonic portable CD player and accessories were taken from a vehicle while in the unit block of Forrest Ave. Value of the missing items is $60.

Criminal Mischief (Dec. 30)

A resident in the 600 block of West Penna. Ave. reported three impact marks left from a pellet gun in their bay window.

Theft (Dec. 31)

Several bottles of alcoholic beverage were reported taken from the garage of a residence in the 200 block of South Woodmont Drive.

Theft (Dec. 31)

Misc. paperwork was reported taken from a vehicle while parked in the unit block of West Lancaster Ave.

Theft (Dec. 31)

Sometime overnight two 100-foot extension cords were taken from a job site at 845 East Lancaster Ave., East Caln Twp. Value of the extension cords is $150.

Underage Drinking (Dec. 31)

Philip A. Thompson, 19, of Downingtown was cited for Underage Drinking. Officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of Stuart Ave. for an alcohol overdose. Upon arrival Thompson was found to be unresponsively intoxicated.

Underage Drinking (Jan. 1)

Shannon Holohan, 19, of West Grove was charged with Underage Drinking. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of Boot Road. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle Holohan was identified as a passenger, who was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Disorderly Conduct (Jan. 2)

Joseph Neathery, 19, of Chester was cited for Disorderly Conduct. Contact was made with Neathery during a traffic stop in the 600 block of Brandywine Ave. While speaking with Neathery a small amount of marijuana was observed in the vehicle.

Theft (Jan. 2)

A socket set was taken from a vehicle while parked in the 100 block of Webster Ave.

Theft of a Vehicle (Jan. 2)

A residence from the 200 block of Prospect Ave. reported a 2001 Honda Accord gold in color stolen from their driveway. Also discovered stolen from a garage was a 2006 50 cc Suzuki Quadrunner and a 2005 silver Beda motorcycle. Total value of stolen vehicles is $18, 800. No suspects at this time. Disorderly Conduct (Jan. 3)

Matthew Bodle, 19, of Downingtown and Jason Adams, 19, of Downingtown were charged with Disorderly Conduct. Contact was made with both subjects during a traffic stop in the unit block of West Lancaster Ave. While speaking with them an odor of burnt marijuana was detected within the vehicle. A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle.

Theft (Jan. 3)

Michelle Ayers, 41, of Downingtown will be charged with Retail Theft. Wawa market, 100 Boot Road, East Caln Twp. reported a retail theft on Dec. 19, 2007. An unknown female entered the store and removed two packs of cigarettes and a soft drink from the displays then exited the store without paying for them. Ayer was identified as the actor after an investigation was conducted.

DUI (Jan. 5) Michael A. Duncan, 21, of Mohnton, Pa. was arrested for DUI and traffic violations. While in the 300 block of Manor Ave. a vehicle was observed swerving within both travel lanes of the roadway. Contact was made with the operator of the vehicle, identified as Duncan. While speaking with Duncan a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The stop was conducted at 3:41 a.m.

Theft (Jan. 5) An employee of JGM Welding, 251 Norwood Road reported a theft of six welding leads. The actors gained entry to the property by cutting a chain-linked fence. Once on the property the actors used bolt cutters to cut the welding leads that were mounted on trailers and trucks. Each welding lead was approximately 400 ft. long. Value of the welding leads is $6, 000. No suspects at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Downingtown Police Department.

Vehicle Theft (Jan. 6) A male juvenile, 15, will be charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and Drivers Required to be Licensed. The juvenile did remove a vehicle from the parking lot of 120 Plaza drive, Caln East Apartments, East Caln Twp. and proceeded to operate the vehicle on the roadways without permission from the owner.

Theft (Jan. 6) A residence from the 100 block of East Lancaster Ave. reported numerous tools being taken from his vehicle overnight. Some of the items taken were Dewalt Miter saws, Porter Cable Compressor, nail guns and circular saws. Estimated value of the tools is over $3, 500. No suspects at this time. Drug Possession (Jan. 2)

Anthony J. Salerno, of Atglen, was arrested for The Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act, and Disorderly Conduct, police said. Salerno was pulled over due to a traffic violation when police witnessed him shuffling something in his rear seat. After approaching the vehicle, police saw plastic baggies and Marijuana.

Simple Assault (Jan. 3)

Miguel A. Jimenez, of Coatesville, was arrested for Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct as the result of a domestic dispute in the area of S. 5th Avenue.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Jan. 10)

Rachel Donkewicz, of Coatesville, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Disorderly Conduct, police said. According to police, Donkewicz exited a vehicle as police approached and discarded several crack pipes.
