Dorothy Ann Coatney Wolter, 90, of West Chester, died on Friday, June 19, in Utica, N.Y.

She was the wife of the late Frederick John Wolter.

She was born in Peru, Neb.

Mrs. Wolter was a resident of Dilworthtown and West Chester for more than 50 years.

She was a special education teacher in West Chester and Coatesville. She was an avid artist and volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Chester County Art Association, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and many other volunteer organizations.

She is survived by three children, Fred Wolter of Middleville, N.Y., Judy Wolter of Jordanville, N.Y., and Curt Wolter of Kennett Square; one brother, Charles C. Coatney Jr.; one sister, Lorene Moritz; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday, June 23, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, West Chester.
