Football Boosetsr slate basket bingo

A Basket Bingo will be held Sunday, April 2 at the Hoffman Building to benefit Solanco Football Booster Club. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are a $12 donation in advance or $14 at the door. Turkey supper set

The Fulton Grange will be hosting a family-style turkey supper on Saturday, April 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7.50 for adults, $3.50 for children 5 to 11-years-old, and children under 5 eat for free. Takeouts are available. The grange is located on Route 272 between Wakefield and Little Britain.

Croaking Frogs to host Ham Raffle

The Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs will be hosting a ham raffle on Friday, March 31 at 7 p.m.

Painting Exhibition at Quarryville Library

From April 1 through May 4, the Carlson Cultural Trust paintings will be exhibited to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Quarryville Library building. The cost is free. For more information, contact the library at 786-1336.

SECA to host Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

The Southern End Community Association's Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Friday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the SECA Center, Memorial Park, Quarryville. For the second year, SECA is hosting it's Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. This event is for youth ages 11 to 15. Just because you are older doesn't mean you can't enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt. Youth ages 11 to 15 are invited to bring their flashlights out and enjoy a fun Easter Egg Hunt on the SECA grounds in the dark. Over 1,500 eggs filled with prizes and candy will be hidden. Special "Golden Eggs" will be hidden for special prizes. All participants must bring their own flashlight!

Senior Center to host Easter Egg Hunt

The Solanco Senior Center will hold an Easter Egg Hunt at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8 at the center, 184 S. Lime St., Quarryville, on the Solanco Fairgrounds.

The event will begin with the announcement of the SECA Egg Decortaing Contest winners. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade are busy coloring eggs and creating "Egg-spression" cartoons to submit to their elementary school to be judged. Awards will be given in each grade.Eleeo the Cloan and the Easter Bunny will perform. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin for children ages 2 through second grade immediately following the performance. Eggs can be turned in for prizes. The Solanco seniors donate and fill the eggs.

Dinner and concert slated

Valley View Family Restaurant's Dinner and Gospel Concert will be held on Saturday, April 1. Dinner is at 5 p.m. and the Concert is at 6 p.m. For reservations and information call 548-2828.

Little Britain Township to hold Egg Hunt

The Little Britain Township supervisors will be hosting its 6th annual Egg Hunt, sponsored by local businesses, at Little Britain Township Park for children up to 12 years of age. There will be prizes, face painting and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Bring a basket to fill with eggs and a camera to catch the unforgettable family fun.

Little Britain Spring Clean Up Day

The Little Britain Township supervisors will be hosting their annual Spring Clean Up Day at Little Britain Township Park to assist residents in discarding unwanted items. The fee schedule is as follows:

$15 charge for all large white and items requiring certification (refrigerators, freezers, compressors, air conditioners, washers, dryers, etc.)

$5 charge for up to a pick-up load of other items (furniture, toys, lawn mowers, etc not household trash)

$3 charge for tires measuring up to 15 inches. Batteries accepted free of charge.

Please note that no cans filled with hazardous chemicals or paint will be accepted and doors must be removed from refrigerators and freezers.

Relay for Life to hold benefit

Team Betty Boops will host a Potpourri Bingo at the Bart Fire Hall on Sunday, April 2. Doors open at noon and food will be served. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Solid Rock to host Mother and Daughter Night

The Coffee Bean will host Old School music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, on Saturday, March 25, will be played at the Coffee Bean, 201A E. State St., Quarryville. All music starts at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated.There is no cover charge for live music unless noted. Coffee Bean hosts Preschool Story time
