Mechanic Grove to hold 'Multicultural Night'Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren will host a "Multi-Cultural Night" at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 20.
Believing that it is a good idea to learn about other cultures and missions to those cultures, three different individuals will share about their experiences. Two seniors from Solanco High School will share about their experiences on a Learning Tour to Ecuador last summer. Marla Hart and Sarah Drennen will talk about their time spent with David Radcliffe of the New Community Project. Chip Roten will talk about his work among Native Americans on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

NewSong Fellowship to hold meeting on Quarryville Church Plant
NewSong Fellowship Church in Lancaster is holding a meeting for community input on possibly starting a church in the Quarryville area.

Special worship services set
The community is invited to special worship services led by Stephen Jenks and Eagles' Wings at the Lord's House of Prayer, Route 472 and Hideaway Drive, Quarryville, on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, at 7 p.m. Eagles' Wings Ministry aims to help Christians.
Pleasant Grove UMC hosts yard sale
A colossal yard sale will take place at 1920 Lancaster Pike (Route 272), Peach Bottom, on Thursday May 15, 16, and 17 starting at 7 a.m. Once again, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church will be sponsoring the yard sale with proceeds going towards improvements to the 120-year-old church.
Look for an antique chest, good used small appliances, books, baby items, bicycle, box lots, basket lots, baskets, canning jars, craft supplies, crochet thread, computers and components, clothes sold separately and by the bag full, a Carhartt denim coat signed by Randy Travis, drill press, Eldreth pottery, exercise equipment, games, holiday items, home decor and house wares too numerous to mention, linens, Santa Claus collection, set of china for eight, tins, toys, vintage records, vintage jewelry and much, much more. Refreshments and homemade soup for sale. Our First Edition cookbooks will also be available for $12.
