Christian K. King, 87, of 5131 Amish Road, Kinzers, died unexpectedly, Friday, Nov. 7, at his home. Born in Paradise, he was the son of the late John A. and Elsie King King. He was the husband of Katie Z. Byler King. He was a retired farmer and a wood worker. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.Besides his wife, he is survived by six daughters, Saloma B., wife of Jonas Fisher of Montgomery, Elsie B., wife of Benjamin Kauffman of Spring Glen, Sadie B., wife of Jacob L. King of Paradise, Ada B., wife of Elam Zook of Quarryville, Katie B., wife of Jacob C. King of Lykens, Ruth B., wife of John Petersheim of Bird-in-Hand; five sons, Jonathan B., husband of Annie Stoltzfus King, John A., husband of Emma Esh King of Kinzers, Ammon B., husband of Mattie Lapp of Rebersburg, Christ S., husband of Hannah Smoker King of Kinzers, Ephraim B., husband of Rachel Mae Fisher King of Kinzers; 80 grandchildren; 219 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ammon R. King of Christiana. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, a great-grandchild and two sisters, Mary Zook and Annie King.
A funeral was held Monday, Nov. 9, at the late home. Interment was in Millwood Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Furman Home for Funerals, Leola.
