Christian F. Glick, 91, of Gap, died Thursday, March 27, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Hannah Stoltzfus Glick and the late Pheobia Miller Glick. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late John K. and Sarah Fisher Glick. A retired farmer and owner of Limeville Book and Health Store. Mr. Glick was a bishop of the New Order Amish Church.Surviving are two sons, Benuel B., husband of Rachel Lapp Glick, Indiana; John E., husband of Barbara Stoltzfus Glick, Gap, with whom he lived; three daughters, Sarah and Rebecca Glick, both of Gap; Esther, wife of Eugene Grimm, Quarryville; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma wife of Abner Zook of Newmanstown.
He was preceded in death by brothers, David, Henry, John and Samuel and a sister, Rachel Zook.
The funeral was held Sunday, March 20, at Pequea Amish Mennonite Church, 115 Blank Road, Narvon with interment at Buena Vista Cemetery. The viewing was at the church on Saturday, March 29, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
