Full Circle, a bicycle shop that also sells in-line skates and hiking supplies, has moved to a larger, more visible location with more parking at 4 S. Lime St., Quarryville.
Owner Allen Fritz of Quarryville said the new location, next to Heaven's Little Angels Boutique, is larger and more easily accessible than their former location at 4 W. State St.
"There's more parking in front of the store and also some in the back," said Fritz, who moved to the new site in March.
The new store is 1,200 square-feet as compared to the former location, which was about 720 square-feet, said Fritz.
"There's more of a shopping area," he said.
After closing the shop on West State Street last November for the season, Fritz said he was looking for a new location and saw a sign that the skateboard shop, formerly of 4 S. Lime St., was moving to a spot along Route 222.
Fritz said he thinks the new location will be better because it is located in the shopping district.
Full Circle continues to carry in-line skates, which can be used at the Southern End Community Association's new in-line hockey rink in Memorial Park and for their skating courses.
"I would be more than happy to carry hockey equipment," said Fritz, referring to the fact that SECA has in-line hockey teams. "I don't think people know that we do sell skates here."
Fritz said he has gotten some requests to carry paintball guns and accessories and is considering doing it.
Full Circle also has a riders club that meets on Friday and Saturdays on alternating weekends. Riders meet at the shop and ride using maps.
The shop also does bicycle repairs and is offering tune ups for $39.95 until April 30.
Fritz said the shop is presently open for its spring hours and is hoping to expand its hours once school is over for the summer.
Full Circle's spring hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 to 6 p.m., Thursday 1 to 7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon.
