Oxford Town Watch meeting The Oxford Town Watch will have their monthly meeting the third Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. and ends promptly at 8:30 p.m. Meetings will be at the Oxford Presbyterian Church, located at 6 Pine Street in Oxford, in the conference room on the first floor. The next meeting is Wednesday, March 18, 2008. All are welcome to attend.OAHS sponsors college planning night The Oxford Area High School Guidance Office invites students in grades nine to 11 and their parents to the annual College Planning Night Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the school, 705 Waterway Rd., East Nottingham. The program will start in the auditorium, and afterwards students and parents will have opportunities to meet with representatives from a variety of schools and programs. Candy Easter Eggs for sale The Oxford United Methodist Church will once again be making their delicious eggs. The half pound, decorated, individually boxed eggs must be ordered by Sunday, Feb. 24 by calling 610.932.2036. Eggs are $5 each with a choice of peanut butter, coconut cream, butter cream or chocolate nut.
Eggs my be picked up at the Church Fellowship Hall, located at Market and Addison Street in Oxford, on Friday, March 14 between 5-7 p.m.
Proceeds from this project will be used for Handbell Choirs, our church baseball team and various church projects.
