Amy Fielding Miskey, 29, of Honey Brook, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at M.S. Hershey Medical Center due to complications related to the birth of her twin daughters on Christmas Day.Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Samuel A. and Sherry A. Marroquin Miskey of Honey Brook.

A graduate of Alernia College, she held a master's degree from Marywood University in Scranton and was a caseworker with Progressions of Reading.

She had a second-degree black belt in karate.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by twin daughters, Adyia Fielding and Lorellie Davenport Brown; her fiance, Anthony Brown of Reading; and a brother, John A. Miskey of Park City, Utah.

Interment private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Labs Funeral Home, Honey Brook.

Earl C. Forbes of Coatesville

Earl C. Forbes, 84, of Coatesville, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

He was the husband of Connie Sherman Forbes, with whom he shared 12 years of marriage, and the widower of Gertrude Stiteler Forbes, who died in 1994.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Earl V. and Edna Ross Forbes.

A 1942 graduate of Coatesville High School, he then served in the Army Medical Corps during World War II.

He was employed in the quality control department of G.O. Carlson, retiring in 1988 after 35 years of service.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Edson E. Forbes, husband of Shirley; a stepson, Rick Liebtrew; a stepdaughter, Kris Simpson; two brothers, Harry S. Forbes of Pottstown and James C. Forbes of Ramsay, N.J.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
