The Avon Grove Recreation Association began its 30th season of fall soccer this past weekend. The following are the results:


Ground Zero Youth Ministries defeated McCormick Orthodoncis 2-1. Emma Beck scored one goal and Katie Vaughn and Ally Malone each scored the second goal. Key defensive players for Ground Zero Youth Ministries were Sarah Poole, Ally Malone, Amelia Martinie, Lexie Cardile and Maureen Miller. Ground Zero Youth Ministries key offensive players were Emma Beck, Katie Vaughn, Courtney Gempp and Abby Pinto.


Yerkes Insurance tied Crossan Raimato Land Surveyors 2-2 with one goal each from Kelsey Colarusso and Katelyn Cardile. Crossan Raimato Land Surveyors Lauren Gempp and Tess Quinn were the scorers. Great hustle by Carly Raymond and Anna Malone. Laura Thompson was a standout on offense and defense.

Abeernethy's Auto Body Shop won 1-0 over Dianne C. Mehn Beauty Shop with a goal by Olivia Paoletti. Good offense by Allyson Wallauer, good defense by Carly Clark and good goaltending by Danielle Minninno for Abernethy's Auto Body. Dianne C. Mehn Beauty Shop's Gabrielle Farina played awesome defense and was super in goal. Mackenzie VanSciver played strong offense and was key to moving the ball forward.


Davis Accounting won 3-0 over Paul Boxler Construction with great team effort with goals scored by Danielle Sorg and Sydney Paglia and good defense by Olivia Edwards. Paul Boxler Constuction's defensive standout was goalie Eliza Wright, who mae serveral key saves early in the game. Offensive standouts were Erica Roland and Sarah Gillespie.


Kelly's Sports, Ltd. won 2-1 over McCormick Orthodontics with Jared Furline and Nathan Fowler each scoring one goal. Strong all-around offense and defense by Jody Heller and Logan Shafer. McCormick Orthodontics goal scorer was Cameron Thomas.

Project R.A.K.E. defeated DelFera & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Jerad Wilson and Greg Winchester each netted one goal. Joshua Eason provided great all-around effort while Nathan Eason and Ryan Wilson were key defensive players of the game for Project R.A.K.E. Kunal Lobo scored DelFera & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning Inc.'s goal with key defense from Justin Cardino and key offense from Kyle Broadbent.


Nowland Associate Contractors tied Tom's TV 2-2. Matt Vaughn and Paul Lanahan each contributed one goal. Ethan Gallagher and Brendan Thomas were key defensive players of the game for Nowland Associates Contractors. Luke Reynolds scored two goals for Tom's TV while Jeremy Weaver provided great defense.

Oasis Pool Service tied John Gallen Photographer 0-0. Oasis Pool Service had tremendous hustle with great offense by Brighid Brennan and Mike Barkasy, strong defense by Avery Evens and Tyler Brooks, and great work in goal by Matt Baker. John Gallen Photographer had excellent offense from Grace Puffenberger, James Powers and Nathan Singley. Excellent defense was provided by Reed Hadly, Kieran Singley and Luis Diaz.
