KENNETT SQUARE-No one was hurt during a daring bank robbery early Thursday morning at the S&T Bank robbery in Kennett Square.
A man wearing large sunglasses entered the bank located in the 200 block of East Cypress Street at 8:29 a.m. and ran to the bank counter and vaulted over it. He displayed no weapon and demanded cash from the bank tellers.
After he got the money, the man fled from the bank and entered a vehicle waiting in the bank parking lot. The vehicle, a blue Chrysler 300, was located by Kennett Square police officers in an alley just one block away from the bank. It was reported to have been stolen out of Wilmington, Del. on Saturday, Feb. 29.
Kennett Square police responded to the bank within minutes of the robbery, and secured the area. Kennett Square Police Department detectives and command staff immediately began an investigation for clues.

Police said the Criminal Investigations Division is following up all leads. Surveillance camera information was obtained, and police said it has been extremely valuable in the investigation. Police ask anyone who lives near the bank that has surveillance cameras to let them know.
