Herr's Lights

Herr's annual holiday lights display will be available to the public beginning Nov. 25.

NOTTINGHAM — Herr’s annual Christmas Lights Display will be open to the public beginning Nov. 25. The free drive-through holiday event has been offered for more than 30 years.

There will be dozens of lighted displays, some of which will focus on Herr's 75th anniversary that will take place next year.

The display runs through Jan. 2. It is open every day from dusk to dawn, approximately 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.

It took a team of five six weeks to create the annual lights display. More than 600,000 lights were used to create the displays, of which 90 percent of are LED lights.

Approximately 220 sets of lights are used for lighting “Big Blue,” the largest tree display at 90 feet high, located along Rt. 272.

To date, the event has attracted approximately 9,000 vehicles each year. For more information, https://herrs.com/visit-us/community-events.
