The organization, which has been around for almost 40 years, offers a variety of events and activities for women -- and men also -- not only in Kennett Square, but also southern Chester County, southwest Delaware County and parts of northern Delaware.

<![CDATA[Mudderella draws thousands to Unionville]]> Unionville >> It was time to get down and dirty at the Plantation Field as nearly 5,000 people came out for the 2014 Mudderella PA Aug. 16.

The event, part of eight held across the United States and the United Kingdom, challenged women of all ages to a 12-obstacle mud run, not to mention the miles of running and walking between them all, which took the participants across the entire expanse of the field.

<![CDATA[Dutkiewicz excited to begin as new principal of Chadds Ford Elementary]]> Education is something which has been flowing through Shawn Dutkiewicz's blood and a profession he has always wanted to do since he was 7 years old.

His best friend's mother, who is still teaching in the Centennial School District, is the person who started that dream.

"In the summers, my best friend and I would go to her school and help her set up in her classroom," Dutkiewicz said.
