Dec. 16 at Great Valley High School, the host Patriots did not execute that part of the game very well. Great Valley turned the ball over 20 times, fell behind in the first period when they had eight miscues and were knocked form the unbeaten ranks by Oxford, 51-43, in Ches-Mont League American Division action.

<![CDATA[Boys Swimming: Malvern, Villa fare well against Unionville]]> Malvern >> Entering the season, there were high expectations placed upon the Malvern Prep, Villa Maria Academy and Unionville's swim programs. On Thursday afternoon, the three schools came together for a non-league competition. The private schools stole the show as Malvern beat Unionville 98-66, and Villa Maria won 94-71.

No one seems to be able to stop the dominant roll the Friars are on as they tacked on their sixth win of the season, 5-1, over Unionville in a non-conference game Friday night at Ice Line.

Even when Malvern (6-0-0 overall) comes out of the gate a little off in its game, the players and coaches are able to pull the team back together and get back on the right track, as was the case Friday.
