The Hornets' air attack was close to unstoppable. Quarterback Dan Green threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns -- two of them going to star wide receiver Ryan Hubley -- who had 139 yards on 13 catches.

Head coach Rob Conti-D'Antonio registered his 500th career win in his 31-year career as the Indians finished the regular season with a 3-0 victory over Avon Grove, 25-17, 25-18, 25-10, in Ches-Mont League American Division play.

East, behind goals from Madison Baxter and Brittany Weiderhold, were able to hold on and beat Unionville 2-1 in a Ches-Mont game.

Twenty minutes into the contest, Baxter got the Cougars on the board with a nifty move past a Unionville defender and fired a rocket past goalkeeper Adriana Weber.

Ryan Hubley was the marquee wide receiver coming into the night, but Great Valley's Nasir Adderley ended up being the star of the night.

Adderley caught 13 of Zach Ludwig's 14 completions Friday, good for 238 yards, and he scored twice on the ground also to lead Great Valley to a 41-22 victory.

The tournament was started by the Hicks Foundation in memory of West Chester Henderson student and hockey player Andrew Hicks, who passed away in 2010 before he could start his senior year.

On their second drive of the game, Rustin marched 76 yards in five plays, capping the drive off with a Terry Loper 33-yard touchdown run along the home team's sideline.

While the Indians were determined to make Kennett's fullback beat them, it was their own fullback that had the biggest impact.

Unionville fullback Austin Hoffman-Reardon scored three touchdowns, while the Indians defense held Dunlevy to one yard on 15 carries to lead Unionville to a 42-7 Ches-Mont American Division road win Oct.
