Called The Lofts, it will be located very close to Victory Brewing Co. on Cypress Street that will open sometime this month. Specifically it will be bordered by State Street to the north, Washington Street to the east, South Mill to the west, and Bernard Alley to the south.

<![CDATA[Criminal charges filed against Kennett bus driver who left child on bus 6 hours]]> KENNETT SQUARE>>Criminal charges were filed Thursday against a bus driver who left a 7-year-old Kennett student on a bus for nearly six hours unattended.

Iver T. Roselund, 66, of Malvern was charged by Kennett Square police with endangering the welfare of children. He will receive a summons via mail and a preliminary hearing has been tentatively set for May 12 before District Justice Daniel Maisano.

These individuals, who faced the same penalties as the folks who carry out organized crime, could be in jail for up to 20 years.

This is what they did: They altered the answers on their students' standardized tests so the kids would get higher scores.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1300 block of Newark Road. Police contacted the driver, Joshua Hineman, 22, from Oxford. During the stop, police observed the driver to exhibit signs of impairment.

Maas had been accused by the center's board of withholding a $500 contribution she received and refusing to return $3,000 worth of science kits that were designated for the children who attend Tick Tock on Baltimore Pike in Toughkenamon.

The student was left on a Krapf-owned bus. Krapf is Kennett Consolidated School District's private transportation contractor. The student was unharmed.

<![CDATA[Clarke named police chief in East Marlborough]]> Robert Clarke--until Monday night the lieutenant and officer in charge of the East Marlborough Township police department--can now simply be called "chief".

The township supervisors appointed Clarke chief of the department at their regular monthly meeting Monday night. The former chief, Gerald Davis, had announced his intention to retire in February, saying it was time for a younger officer to take over, and Clarke had moved into a leadership position as a result.
