The coaches at KMC Gymnastics & Dance knew how good its boys team was, but even they were stunned at the results of the Pennsylvania State Championships when they walked away with just the second super team trophy in its history.

PHILADELPHIA - State Trooper Kelly Cruz, who more than four years ago had a violent confrontation with a handcuffed suspect during a drug lab raid in West Whiteland, on Monday was found not guilty of violating the man's civil rights.

A jury of seven women and five men deliberated about three hours before returning with its verdict on the single count against Cruz, a veteran of the state police who investigated narcotics trafficking in southern Chester County and elsewhere.

Just a year removed from a Delaware Scholastic Hockey Association (DSHA) championship with Avon Grove, Billy Dixson added another title to his collection April 5.

In his freshman year at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, Dixson joined the D-III ice hockey team and found himself lifting the Founder's Cup.

WEST GOSHEN - The pads were out and masks were on for a free goaltending clinic held by former professional goalie Dave Marlin Sunday afternoon at IceLine.

It may have been a fun-filled day for the students in attendance, but it was a little bittersweet as part of the clinic was awarding three scholarships to Marlin's summer camp in honor of Jon Whitacre, a young goaltender who perished in a plane crash last summer.
