Young drivers collided on Scarlett Road at its intersection with South Street in New Garden Township on May 24 at 5:40 p.m. One car was stopped ready to turn left on West South Street. The other was traveling north on Scarlett Road approaching West South Street. The first car made a left turn onto West South Street and failed to yield the right of way to the second car, striking it in the side. The driver of the struck car requested an ambulance, but was not taken to the hospital, police said.
