A Kennett Square woman who police said was selling prescription painkiller medications out of her home has been arrested.
Rose A. Diaz, 64, of 439 E. South St., was charged with five counts of possession with intent to deliver prescription medication and one count of criminal use of a communication device, police said.
Victor Nova-Castaneda, 27, who was present during the execution of the search warrant on Nov. 15, was found to be in possession of one ounce of marijuana, said Kennett Square police.
The investigation began in July after police learned Diaz was allegedly selling Oxycodone and Percocet without a license from her home.
Kennett Square Police were assisted in the investigation by the Chester County Detectives and the District Attorney’s Office.
Diaz was arraigned before District Justice Matthew Seavy and committed to Chester County Prison in lieu of $15,000 cash bail. Nova-Castaneda was also arraigned by Seavy on the possession of marijuana charge and committed to Chester County Prison in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
