The following are the most recent results from the White Clay Soccer Club's fall season.

Girls U-13 Flame

The White Clay Flame lost a tough road game 4-0 to the second place Methacton Storm on Sunday. Despite a strong start to the year, the loss dashed the hopes for a playoff berth for the Flame, ending their season with a 3-5 record.

Girls U-12 Wildfire

The Wildfire had a weekend full of battles to qualify for a playoff spot. On Saturday, the Wildfire crossed the border to play the Hockessin Galaxy. Goals from Morgan Whiteside, McKenzie Townsend and Regan Cook helped secure a 3-2 victory. On Sunday, the Wildfire hosted the Brandywine Youth Club Kixx and battled from behind to tie the game in the 54th minute on a goal when Keiva Brannigan found the net from a Morgan Whiteside crossing pass. The 1-1 draw helped the Wildfire secure fourth place. They will go on the road on Saturday against the West Chester Pride for a playoff game.

Boys U-11 Comets

The Comets hosted two home games this weekend, playing the Cecil Arsenal on Saturday and the Rose Tree Renegade on Sunday. On Saturday, the Comets jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first half on goals from Justin DeVice and Wyatt Anderson with assists from Zach DeStefano and Ryan Hannum. Goalie Karl Forst held his ground, shutting down all Arsenal shots in the first half. Dylan Broadway continued his outstanding defensive play, and the Comets escaped a physical second half with a 2-1 victory over the Arsenal. The Comets jumped out to a 4-0 first half lead against the Renegade with Karl Forst once again providing a shutout half in goal. Ricky Gall netted two goals for the Comets, with Zach DeStefano and Stetson Fenster also scoring in the first half. Justin DeVice scored the final Comet goal as they defeated the Renegade 5-1. DeStefano, DeVice, Forst and Ryan Hannum also recorded assists in the game. The 7-1 Comets host Radnor for a first-round playoff game on Saturday.

Boys U-10 Panthers

The Panthers hosted FC Revolution on Saturday and fought a tough first half defensive battle with both teams getting only a few good shots on goal, ending the half tied 0-0. The Panthers attacked in the second half, but outstanding play by the Revolution goalie kept it tied until Jake Bosio's shot bounced off the keeper and Scooter Whiteside crashed the goal and buried a rebound into the back of the net. Andrew Spencer scored a second goal for the Panthers, and though the Revolution came back with a flurry of shots, Carter Fenster held his ground in goal with several spectacular saves ending the game 2-0. Zac Hanway played another outstanding game on defense for the Panthers. The win ended the Panthers season with a 5-4 record, just missing a playoff berth.

Girls U-10 Wildcats

The Wildcats defeated the visiting Lower Merion Dynamite on Sunday 4-1. Maddy Stillman and Morgan Ohm scored for the Wildcats, with Ohm netting her second hat trick of the year. Mary Forrest added an assist in the victory. Olivia Taylor and Tara Bender split time in goal, while Alli Martinae and Shannon Oakes played solid defense to limit the Dynamite shots. The Wildcats remain undefeated, improving to 7-0-1. They close their season at home on Sunday against Haverford.
