The Avon Grove High School lacrosse team recently captured the championship of the Division A bracket during the 6th annual Brian Houshower Lacrosse Tournament in Downingtown. The Red Devils defeated Downingtown West by a score of 6-5 in the finals with Tom Hammond scoring the game-winner late in the contest. A total of 20 teams participated in the event, which was in memory of Houshower, who died in an accident six years ago.
