El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant won the Restaurant Best salsa competition during this year’s¡Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving!® event.
Seven local Mexican restaurants participated in the contest. Each restaurant prepared fresh salsa for the September 28 competition at Anson B. Nixon Park. Those attending the event voted for their favorite salsa.
Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving!® is a free event, open to the public and promotes family physical activity and good nutrition for better health and wellness for people of all ages.
The seven restaurants that took part in this year’s salsa competition were El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant, La Peña Mexicana, Plaza Azteca, La Herradura, Taqueria Moroleon, Mi Cocina Mexicana, and La Michoacana Grill.
