Kennett Square

Earl Fountain, 57, of Kennett Square was cited for disorderly conduct on Aug. 23 at 11:35 p.m. in the 200 block of Birch Street after being observed urinating in public.

On Saturday, Aug. 24, it was reported to Kennett Square Police that sometime between Aug. 3 and Aug. 17, a residence located in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue was burglarized and several pieces of jewelry were taken, police said.

Kennett Square police arrested Eduardo Diaz, 22, of Kennett Square for DUI on Aug. 25 at 1:20 a.m. following a one vehicle traffic accident in the 900 block South Walnut Street. Diaz was released at his residence pending summons from district court.

Sometime between 8:15a.m. and 9:20 a.m. on Aug. 27, an iPhone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block Meredith Street, police said.


Nichole Kennedy, 39, Kennett Square, was cited for public drunkenness on Aug. 30 at 12:30a.m. at South Broad and Birch Streets, police said. Kennedy was released at her residence.

On Aug. 30 at 11:30 a.m., a resident of the 300 block Harvey Circle reported to Police that someone had opened a Dish Network account using his Social Security Number.

Sometime overnight on Aug. 31, several vehicles parked at a business located in the 100 block South Walnut Street were broken in to and items were taken.

Roderick MacKenzie, 33, Kennett Square, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Nov. 1 at 9:26 p.m. in the 800 block South Walnut Street. MacKenzie was released at his residence pending summons from district court.

Gilberto Jimenez-Ibarra, 24, Avondale, was arrested for DUI andfalse ID following a traffic stop on Nov. 1 at 10:36 p.m. in the 400 block East South Street, police said. Jimenez-Ibarra was released at his residence pending summons from district court.

State Police

Thomas Haba, 26, of Coatesville was arrested for DUI on Route 82 south of Route 926 in East Marlborough Township on Sept. 6 at 12:10 a.m., police said.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Sept. 4 at 9:54 a.m. in Pennsbury Township. Douglas Hanby, 47, of Wilmington was traveling southbound on Pondís Edge Drive and cut in front of a car that was turning into a driveway and was struck by that car, police said.

Two cars collided at the entrance to Jennerís Village as one car struck another at the turn on Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. in Penn Township, police said.

There was a three-vehicle rear end collision at the intersection of Street Road and Route 82 in East Maarlborough Township on Sept. 6 at 9:24 p.m. The driver of the second car told police that the striking car did not have its lights on. During the interview of the drivers, it was determined that the driver of the striking car, George Cloud, was DUI, police said.

Someone threw eggs at a vehicle in the 200 block of Cherry Lane in East Marlborough Township on Sept. 7, Police said.

Someone forged a personís name on an application for student loans in the 100 block of Tweed Road in East Nottingham Township between November 5, 2011 and Aug. 28, 2012, police said.

Someone road a dirt bike through a field of alfalfa on Penwyck Lane in London Grove Township, ruining the crop on Sept. 7 at 2:30 p.m., police said.

Russell Miller, 66, of Nottingham suffered minor injuries when he rear-ended a car that was stopped for a school bus on Baltimore Pike in East Nottingham Township on Sept. 4 at 4:30 p.m. The driver of the struck car also suffered minor injuries, police said.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lower Oxford Township on Commons Drive on Aug. 25 at 2:21 p.m. Ashley Mulholland, 20, of Oxford was charged with careless driving after she backed into another car and then drove away from the scene, police said.

Jose Alejandro Murillo-Bedolla, 29, of Wilmington crashed his car into a road sign in the 900 block of Creek Road in Kennett Township on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. It was found he was DUI and he was charged accordingly and detained at Chester County Prison.

Someone damaged a mailbox in the 700 block of West Ewing Road in Penn Township overnight on Aug. 23, police said.

Ryan Anthony Perez, 28, of Wilmington was taken into custody and sent to Chester County Prison for driving DUI on Route 41 at Glen Willow Road in London Grove Township as well as having a warrant out of Elesmere, Del., on Aug. 31 at 12:05 a.m., police said.

Someone call a pizzeria in the 1800 block of New Lndon Road in Fanklin Township and had them send the pizzas to random locations between May 26 and Aug. 8, police said.

Richardean Jennings, 39, of Peach Bottom was arrested for DUI as a result of a domestic incident on Route 1 north of Ridge Road in West Nottingham Township on Sept. 1 at 11:35 p.m., police said.

Juan Luna, 24, of Oxford lost control of his vehicle and rolled over on Route 1 at Route 52 in Kennett Township on Sept. 1 at 3:50 a.m. He was taken out of his vehicle and taken to Chester County Hospital and charged with DUI, police said.

Someone searched through unlocked vehicles in the 200 block of Wayside Lane in New London Township overnight on Aug. 27 and took $2 in change, police said.

Someone went into a garage through an unlocked door and stole $20 and a bicycle overnight on Aug. 27 in the 1100 block of Thunder Hill road in New London Township, police said.

Someone damaged mailboxes at various locations on Biddle Lane and Forest Manor Road in Upper Oxford Township overnight on Aug. 19, Police said.

Someone broke into a home and took an air conditioner, two revolvers, jewelry and about 10,000 coins in the unit block of Karnik Court in New London Township between Aug. 25 and 28, police said.

David Nunn, 47, of West Grove suffered minor injuries when his car struck a cement staircase after he failed to stop at a stop sign on Newark Road in West Marlborough Township on Aug. 28 at 9:43 p.m. It was later determined that he was DUI, and he was arrested as well as taken to Jennersville Hospital, police said.

Ralph Lipford, 53, of Wilmington placed several phone calls to someone from whom he had a PFA in the 800 block of Saginaw Road in New London Township on Aug. 28 at 4:15 p.m., police said.

Renee Caster, 18, of Landenberg suffered minor injuries after her car hit an embankment because she was driving too fast on Clay Creek Road in London Grove Township on Aug. 30 at 10:44 p.m., police said.

Someone took items from a barn in the 200 block of Daleville Road in Londonderry Township overnight on Aug. 30, police said.

Lewis Pearce Draper, 53, of West Grove left the roadway and struck a utility pole in the 1000 block of West Baltimore Pike in Penn Townshp on Aug. 30 at about 2:26 p.m. He was subsequently arrested for DUI, police said.

No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Gap-Newport Pike in London Grove Township on Aug. 29 at 12:57 a.m. Arora Krishan, 42, of Cochranville was traveling north east of Mosquito Road, fell asleep ant struck a utility pole, police said.

Marilyn Connell, 45, of Landenberg was not injured when her car hit a mailbox and she drove from the scene in the 600 block of Martin Drive in London Grove Township on Aug. 25 at 7:10 p.m., police said.

No one was injured in a two vehicle accident on Limestone Road south of Boydís Lane in Lower Oxford Township. Michael Wolf, 69, was traveling too close to a vehicle ahead of him and rear-ended it in an area where police were assisting a motorist, police said.

Someone took a cat, a ferret, a parrot fish and a fish tank from an apartment in the unit block of Exchange Place in West Grove overnight on Aug. 3, police said.

A 17-year-old drive pulled out of a parking lot on Unionville Road at Landhope Farms in East Marlborough Township and struck another vehicle on Aug. 23 at 7:13 p.m. The young driver suffered minor injuries, but the occupants of the struck vehicle were unhurt, police said.

Someone threw an object at the driver side window of car parked in the 20 block of Arbour Court in West Nottingham Township overnight on Aug. 27, causing the window to shatter, police said.

A 47-year-old man was charged with simple assault on a female in the 2900 block of Highpoint Road in West Fallowfield Township on Aug. 27 at 10:14 p.m., police said.

Someone tried to get into a home by taking the screen out of a front window in the 100 block of West Branch Road in Lower Oxford Township on Aug. 26, police said.
