For a super night of fireworks, music, food and special events, visit the Chester County Freedom Fest at Nottingham Park on Saturday, July 6, from 5 to 11 p.m.

Nottingham County Park is located four miles south of Oxford off Route 1 Bypass in West Nottingham Township.

DESCRIPTION: Annual Freedom Fest - an Independence Weekend event with live music, entertainment, jugglers, vendors, food vendors, children’s activities, and a dazzling fireworks display.

Free admission. $10 parking fee.

Sponsored by the Chester County Parks and Recreation Department.

The Avon Grove Seniors will have their monthly covered dish lunch at 11:30 a.m. on July 17 at West Grove Presbyterian church, 139 W. Evergreen St., West Grove.

The Avon Grove Seniors will have an Emergency Services presentation at the West Grove Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, West Grove, at 11:30 a.m. on July 24.

Oxford United Methodist Church Invites Children to Kingdom Rock: Where Kids Stand Strong for God starting on sunday, July 28. A summer kids’ event called Kingdom Rock will be hosted at Oxford United Methodist Church, 18 Addison St. (corner of Addison and Market streets), Oxford, PA, from Sunday, July 28 to Thursday, Aug. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. At Kingdom Rock, kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience epic Bible adventures.
