The issue is conflict of interest

I see most people have gotten the point. It’s not about Robert’s Rules of Order, nor the Pennsylvania Ethics Commission, nor some lawyer’s legal opinion.

It’s not about the $430.00 that non-union teachers have to pay the union in order to work in the AGSD. It’s about a conflict of interest.

While it may be OK to vote if you have a conflict of interest, we should not be electing public officials who have a conflict of interest. They can and often do vote for their interest over taxpayers and school district interest. And that is the point. Remember who has a conflict of interest when you go to the polls in November.
