West Goshen >> In the early-morning hours of June 27, police investigated the theft of tires and rims from four separate vehicles from Scott Honda overflow parking lot in the 300 block of Westtown Road. A witness reported that two black males in their mid-20s wearing all black, took tires and rims from vehicles. They fled in a silver Honda Accord sedan on Westtown Road toward Route 202. The stolen tires, rims and covers are valued at nearly $12,000.
Two of the vehicles sustained damage, valued at $1,000. The suspects’ vehicle was later located unoccupied on Yorktown Avenue by West Goshen Police. The suspects were not located during the search. West Goshen Police were assisted by West Chester Police Department.

Warrant arrest >> On July 2 at 11:53 p.m., police were dispatched to a domestic dispute at 35 W. Fifth Avenue in Coatesville. Police identified the male as Davine Thompson, 26, and they confirmed he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of the Chester County District Attorney’s office. He was taken into custody without incident.
Vandalism >> Justin Pollard, 35, of West Chester, was arrested June 21 and charged with institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct. Police said Pollard flooded the cell area at the West Goshen Police Station. Pollard was in jail on other charges when he intentionally clogged the sink and caused two nearby cell units to be flooded.
Forgery >> Kristopher Waldrum, 32, of Belle Vernon, Pa., was arrested and charged with forgery on June 26. Police said Waldrum presented a stolen company check for $1,867.15 and his photo ID to cash it at Fulton Bank in West Chester. Waldrum fled the bank when bank officials learned the check was stolen. He was immediately located by police in a neighboring parking lot and taken into custody. He was unable to post $10,000 bail.
Criminal mischief >> On June 19, West Goshen Police discovered a ceramic picture on a gravestone at Oakland’s Friends Cemetery on Pottstown Pike was damaged. The picture was broken by rocks. The value of the ceramic picture is estimated at $500.
Simple assault >> On June 28, at approximately 5:13 a.m. West Chester police officers responded to an ambulance call for an assault with injuries. As a result of their investigation, Carlos Villalva, 24, of West Chester, was arrested for simple assault. Villalva was processed and transported to Chester County Prison.
DUI >> On June 24, at 3:20 a.m. the West Chester Police Department investigated an accident (overturned vehicle) in the 200 block of West Miner Street. Robert Turner, 22, of West Chester was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
DUI >> On June 23, at 9:06 p.m., West Chester Police Department investigated an accident at Biddle and High streets. John Leary, 36, of West Chester was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Retail theft >> On June 17, the Giant Food Store reported a retail theft. Joseph Aerie III , 56, of West Chester was taken in to custody for theft of $280 worth of food items. Aerie was processed and released on summons.
Machine stolen >> On June 20, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. an electric fusion machine was stolen from the construction site at East Chestnut St. and N. Franklin St. The machine is contained in a gray plastic case that is approximately 2 feet by 2 feet in dimension, and weighs approximately 35 pounds. The machine is valued at $4,000.
